Maddy Herbert (Velvet Bloom)
Velvet Bloom's music transcends genres; it's an otherworldly odyssey, a sonic voyage through the cosmos guided by the ethereal presence of Maddy Herbert, the band's vibrant lead vocalist, and visionary songwriter. Maddy's powerful lyricism and soulful prowess serves as a beacon of authenticity in an often tumultuous world.
Romanie
For Belgian-born, Melbourne-based singer and songwriter Romanie Assez, the music has always stemmed from an innate desire to express creativity through personal and engaging storytelling. Ever since Romanie moved to Australia in 2019 she’s been playing her own captivating headline shows both solo and with her band, as well as touring with varying artists.
Matt Boylan-Smith
A story-teller or both heartfelt and rambunctious proportions, Matt Boylan-Smith left his home town of Bathurst a few years ago to travel and write. His songs incorporate old school story-telling , layered vocals and earnest delivery honed from travelling the world either collecting or singing his stories.
Erin Badman
Experienced musician based out of Nowra, NSW. Blending electric with acoustic to create ‘futuristic lullabies.’ Badman embraces imperfection and aims to integrate her introversion through music. She describes song-writing as a healing journey while addressing and mending parts of herself along the way.
Andy Martin
Andy Martin is an award-winning singer-songwriter from Cairns who transcends genres, effortlessly blending rock, pop, folk, and indie influences in his songwriting. Now residing in Brisbane, the 26-year-old has made a mark not only in Australia, but across the globe.
Already receiving praise from international tastemakers including Triple J, Music Feeds, MTV, Triple M and CLASH magazine, Martin is likely to emerge as a household name amongst those with a disposition for earnest & honest creations.
Andy's energetic live show has seen him sell out headline shows across the country, perform on major festival stages, and jump on main support duties for artists including: 10cc (UK), Ben Lee, The Rubens, Alex Lahey, Kingswood, The Vanns, Ash (IRE), PAIGE (NZ) and more.
Tanya George
After placing 4th in the world at the 2023 Gwangju Busking Worldcup in South Korea, Tanya George is back in Australia smashing out the Australian festival circuit.
With new music set to release for 2024, Tanya has performed on a diverse range of stages from Airlie Beach Music Festival to Melbourne Fashion Week to the finals in South Korea.
If she is not with her band, Tanya performs solo as a vocal looper, creating songs with all her voice from bass lines, to beats, to harmonies. A craft which started on the streets has taken her to innovative new heights and shows her 4.5 octave vocal range.
Jack (Whiskey Jack)
From the Hills of Perth, nature enthusiast and folk singer-songwriter Whiskey Jack is described as an old soul with a smooth sound and timeless vocals.
Drawing inspiration from many wondered trails, he finds helpful metaphors in plain sight—a modern day jolly swagman.
Vincent (Divebar Youth)
Divebar Youth is the project of genre-bending artist and producer Vinnie Barbaro. He is known for his versatile songwriting and prolific output, which brings a distinct darkness into the indie realm.
He has quickly established himself as a powerhouse in the Australian scene, gaining regular placements across streaming platforms, rotation on national radio, and a strong and supportive fan base.
Brent (Boleyn)
Wielding tender lyricism like a teary-eyed switchblade, boleyn's potent combo of vocal prowess and introspective lyricism evokes the likes of the 1975, Prince and the omnipresent Taylor Swift.
Angela Rose
Angela Rose is an independent songstress from Newcastle, NSW. With a rich and soothing sound that blends elements of pop, alt-country & indie rock, along with heart-on-sleeve storytelling, Angela Rose creates her own brand of instantly memorable indie pop music. 2023 was a turbulent year for Angela Rose, with her debut EP ‘Late Bloomer’ gracing the airwaves. This project was written by Angela Rose and produced by Jack Nigro at Sonora Studios. Angela Rose was also a winner of the 2023 Triple J Unearthed x NIDA music video competition for the EP title track ‘Late Bloomer’.
Angela Rose has supported some incredible women in the Australian music landscape, such as Gretta Ray, Mia Wray, Dulcie, Greta Stanley, Hollie Col, & Imogen Clark.
